Ticket Sales Account Executive - Charleston Battery (Charleston, SC)

Job Summary: Under the leadership of the Director of Ticket Sales, the Ticket Sales Account Executive is responsible for selling all Charleston Battery  ticket packages including full seasons, partial plans, groups and miscellaneous packages.

Reports to: Director of Ticket Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing the maximum revenue for the Charleston Battery through the sale of ticket packages

  • Knowledgeable in all ticket product lines including season plans, partial plans, group sales and premium seating packages

  • Full participation in widespread inbound/outbound call campaigns

  • Minimum of 50 phone calls per day

  • Responsible for in-stadium and outside face-to-face sales presentations to create sales opportunities

  • Responsible for managing and servicing assigned accounts to up-sell and renew on an annual basis

  • Proficient in researching and creating new sales opportunities to increase revenue

  • May be required to work outside sales events in addition to all home games for promoting sales packages through tabling, promotions, and invitations to games

  • Responsible for follow up phone campaigns involving direct marketing efforts

  • Meet or exceed all established activity and sales goals

  • Present weekly sales report to management

  • Active involvement in sales or business organizations including (but not limited to) Chambers of Commerce, Sales and Marketing Executive organizations and other networking association.

  • Represent the Charleston Battery at other events as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University required

  • 2-3 years of sales experience with a pro team, stadium, arena, or public assembly facility

  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications required

  • Knowledge of ticketing and CRM systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects

  • Effective time management skills

Ticket Sales Account Manager - Orange County Soccer Club (Irvine, CA)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Orange County Soccer Club is currently seeking hardworking and experienced sales professionals possessing the ability to build relationships and maximizing opportunities to generate revenue.  The Ticket Sales Account Manager will be responsible for selling and servicing season tickets, partial plans and group ticket packages for the Orange County Soccer Club, through cold calls, out of office appointments and different events.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·   Focus on selling group tickets inventory to private local, regional and national businesses with operations in the Orange County area.

·   Focus on selling season tickets, partial plans and luxury seating inventory through referrals of established relationships and cold calls

·   Establish relationships with local non-profit organizations and affinity groups.

·   Develop and maintain relationships with each reassigned and new account to upgrade/renew and collect referrals, attend youth soccer club/league meetings, chamber of commerce meetings and networking events, and other events approved by the Vice President

·   Maintain accurate sales activity: calls, meetings and stadium tours  

·   Provide weekly activity summaries as outlined by the Vice President of Ticket Sales.

·   Meet all predetermined activity and sales goals

·   Assist with other season and group ticket sales duties, as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·   Passion for sales, sports and creativity

·   Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business management, marketing, or related field

·   At least one year of successful sales experience regardless of previous industry

·   Strong oral and written communication skills

·   Extensive sales prospecting-by-phone, cold-calling experience

·   Track record of sales success and appointment setting with key corporate and non-profit decision makers

Director of Ticket Sales & Service - Phoenix Rising FC (Phoenix, AZ)

The Director of Ticket Sales and Service is responsible for the operations, sales, and marketing of tickets. The Director must manage a sales team utilizing the most effective and strategic marketing channels to maximize season, group, and single-game ticket sales, revenue and retention. As a leader of this team, the Director will use Customer Relationship Management (CRM), data collection, and analytics to help maximize results, and will ensure that fans are consistently provided outstanding service from the Ticket Department. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with Vice President, Sales, and Marketing on strategies and initiatives to maximize season, group and single-game revenue
  • Train, coach, motivate, and manage full-time Ticket Executives (and potentially a part-time sales staff) on a daily basis, and be responsible for on-going training and accountability 
  • Establish individual and department sales goals, and provide daily/weekly call and sales reports to hold staff accountable for their performance
  • Develop commission structure, incentive programs, and retention plan for the sales staff
  • Work closely with Operations team and Box Office to manage ticket and premium inventory (e.g., status of seats, holds, comps, presales, on sale dates, Playoffs, etc.), and policies/procedures for all ticket fulfillment
  • Create and maintain name generation programs to identify and capture all the names, addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers of our fans
  • Utilize all available assets to create, initiate, and execute group programs (e.g., Group Fan Experience, etc.), season ticket prospecting events (e.g., select-a-seat) and Season Ticket Holder events (e.g., Open houses, meet the team, chalk talks and locker room tours)
  • Ensure that our sales staff provides outstanding service to all customers and fans who contact our office and visit us on game nights
  • Lead staff by example through personal sales calls and efforts, joining on appointments, etc.
  • Manage all ticket content on the team website, and all correspondence/communications with Season Ticket Holders and Group Leaders
  • Establish local relationships with discount channels (e.g., Groupon, ValPak, Entertainment Book, MarketShare, etc.) to help move single game distressed inventory; also create email, social media and internet offers to move distressed inventory
  • Collaborate with our Graphic Designers on the creation of ticketing marketing collateral materials (e.g., ticket brochures, group fliers, couponing, email templates, etc.)
  • Be the team’s expert and liaison with the club’s ticketing system to ensure smooth operations and development of technical applications like digital and secondary ticketing, along with an online group manager tool
  • Report to Vice President, Sales & Marketing

The Tulsa Drillers is seeking an Account Executive to sell tickets & sponsorships beginning immediately. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ outside sales experience selling individual, group & corporate accounts. Competitive salary & benefits package commensurate with experience.

 

The Drillers are the Double-A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Drillers drew 380,759 fans to ONEOK Field in 2015, averaging 5,858 fans per game.  In addition, the team recorded 14 sellouts this season which is second most in franchise history.  The Drillers were named Texas League Organization of the Year in both 2013 & 2014, marking the sixth time that the team has received the award.

 

In addition to the baseball club, the Drillers own & operate Tulsa Roughnecks FC at ONEOK Field. In 2015, the Roughnecks FC averaged 4,714 fans per game, 5th highest total in the USL. Tulsa has a long and storied history in American soccer. The original Roughnecks played in the old NASL, drawing record crowds averaging 15,000 - 17,000 fans per game for the season. In 1983, the original Roughnecks won the Soccer Bowl, the first and only major sports championship for the city.

1.  Assists Sales Department with the following:

a. Implementation of All Ticket Programs

b. All Ticket Sales- Cold Calling local business/Calling residential ticket purchasers. Sale of season                    tickets, groups, picnics & suite.

c.Ticket Printing and distribution

d. Group Sales- youth programs, birthday parties, churches, schools, daycares, sleepovers, picnics                    & all hospitality.

e. Ticket Office Coverage/Answering Phones

2. Assist in the Game Day Implementation of the following if necessary:

a. Box office window sales

1. Required to upsell any/all single game purchasers to ticket products.

b. Staffing of sales table during all Driller & Roughnecks games.  

c. Assist in Pre-game set up and Post-Game clean up

d. Promotions

e.  Ticket & Schedule Deliveries

f.   Special Projects/Special Events

Any additional task deemed necessary by the Tulsa Drillers/Roughnecks management.   

Time Frame:          Immediate – End of Season 2017

Hours:                    8:30 am – 5:00 pm or 40 hour work week
