SUMMARY

Interns will be responsible for assisting the ticket sales department with day-to-day operations.  Interns will be exposed to front office operations and general marketing operations as well. Internships with Bethlehem Steel FC will provide qualified interns with an assortment of valuable learning experiences and exposure to all facets of a professional soccer team’s front office.  Interns may be asked to work some nights and weekends.  Applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Office and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct Market Research to develop sales leads for the department
  • Assist in Pre-Season preparations in Sales Department and Box Office
  • Assist in game day preparation and execution
  • Aid in execution of local Youth Soccer Partnerships
  • Aid in execution of local Pub Partnerships
  • Work with the Supporters Club in game day preparation and operations
  • Provide friendly customer service at Union home games and other Union events

Graphic Design Intern (January 2018) - Bethlehem Steel FC (USL Affiliate of Philadelphia Union) (Bethlehem, PA)

The Graphic Design Intern will work within the Bethlehem Steel FC Marketing department in the creation of content for Bethlehem Steel FC. This designer is responsible for supporting and helping shape the development of concepts, designs and production of a variety of advertising projects (both traditional and non-traditional media) with a focus on brand development. This designer work closely with and also be responsible for producing graphics for other internal Bethlehem Steel FC departments, including Partnership Marketing and Ticket Sales.

REPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conceptualize and produce creative across multiple media and messaging platforms— i.e.. print, online, broadcast, social media, outdoor, logos, client presentations and more.
  • Understand brand and the importance of brand standards, and be able to apply such standards to all formats when necessary.
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud Design Suite to generate designs for use on social media, websites and printed materials
  • Work alongside the Marketing department under the supervision of Sr. Graphic Designer to ensure all graphics needs are met
  • Proof all materials in accurate manner, delivering high-quality, on-time and error-free drafts
  • Support other graphic design projects as requested.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accessible online portfolio
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and knowledge of the print production process

Task and Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day tasks of the ticketing operations department

  • Manage the annual ticket mailing with both internal and external parties.

  • Generate sales reports for internal use and USL single game reports.

  • Oversee and participate in fulfillment of daily ticket orders for all customers.

  • Provide superior professional customer service to patrons and internal and external clients while working alongside the guest service and sales department.

  • Provide support for entry services on event days.

  • Update and maintain ticket database on a regular basis.

  • Oversee matchday preparations and operational duties such as box office sales and will-call set.

2018 PDL/UWS Season Internship - Game Day Staff - Long Island Rough Riders (Plainview, NY)

The Long Island Rough Riders are seeking qualified candidates to serve as game day staff for the 2018  season. 

Game Day Staff members are expected to work all seven home games as well as events as needed. 

Ideal candidates will be committed to customer service and dedicated to improving all aspects of the guest experiences. 

Game day staff is expected to arrive at the game site three (3) hours before the start of each game (except stadium set-up staff, who will arrive approximately four (4) hours prior to the start of the game).

Orange County Soccer Club is looking for resourceful and eager candidates to fill an internship in the sales promotion and events department. Interns are paid hourly in the program and will work up to 40 regular business hours per week for up to a year. Sales Promotion and Operations
In collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams, the intern will be responsible for assisting with executing sales promotional campaigns and customer service and fulfillment designed to generate turnstile revenue.

  • Working with our sales and marketing teams, the eligible candidate will be required to proofread sales collateral and copy, assist with lead generation research and data administration to effectively support sales team and sales revenue goals.

  • Track website and digital application updates
  • Prepare and assist with the execution of various sales and marketing events and initiatives including but not limited to theme group sales events, comprehensive recaps for events and giveaways

Special Events
The Intern will work directly with our Operations team to provide seamless customer service to internal and external special event clients

  • Assist with coordination of assigned event setup

Premier Development League (PDL) Overview
The developmental leader in North American soccer's evolving tiered structure, the Premier Development League (PDL) featured 72 teams within four conferences throughout the United States and Canada in 2017. The PDL has proven to be an important stepping-stone for top professionals, with nearly 70 percent of MLS draftees since 2010 having PDL experience. Twenty of the PDL's current members are owned and operated by a professional club, or hold a partnership with a professional club. The PDL provides elite collegiate players the opportunity to taste a higher level of competition while maintaining their eligibility. In addition to league play, PDL teams compete in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup as well as various exhibitions.


Primary Duties (as outlined below, but not limited to)

- Assist in league management and competition issues

- Collect copies of coaching licenses, mailing addresses, & standard exemptions

- Collect venue insurance submissions (COI Requests)

Responsibilities:

Saint Louis Football Club is looking for a Team Administration & Operations Intern(s) for the USL and PDL. The Team Administration & Operations Internship is for a minimum of 24 weeks and may be extended. The position requires morning availability and 25-30 hours a week plus home game days. Interns will report directly to the Operations Manager and Equipment Manager. We are looking for detail oriented, driven individuals with knowledge of the sport. Interns will also be working with the coaching and operations staff to prepare field and locker room for practices and games including:

- Players Gear & Uniforms 

- Training Supplies & Field Set Up 

            - Goals, Water, Gear

- Any day to day needs from technical staff and players
